Passiveness gets youpassed over.
Only the strong willsurvive.
God didn't give mouthsjust to eat,
He gave them to speak,
And to stand up forwhat is right.
How long will we be victimized
In this so-called landof freedom and opportunity?
Bound to racist judgments
By this system of injustice,
And rules that are notjustified unto our race.
When will we finallyhave a voice,
And be the head insteadof the tail?
It is up to us as apeople
Not to be passive butto be active.
If we don't stand, noone will pick us up.
Blessed with wisdom
And a God-given strongmentality.
We must reach forwardto the future,
And not be held backwith the past.
Passiveness will notget me passed over!
